We are performing a routine maintenance activity in EMEA.
Karpenter node data volume (/dev/xvdb) will be reduced from 250Gi to 200Gi on the care-euw1-prod-005 EKS cluster. ArgoCD will sync the updated EC2NodeClass, causing Karpenter to mark existing nodes as drifted and trigger a rolling node replacement within existing pod disruption budgets. No manual intervention required - the process is fully automated and respects disruption budgets to avoid downtime.
