We are performing a routine maintenance activity in EMEA, conducted within the region's defined maintenance window. MongoDB Atlas production-gc cluster (eu-west-1) EBS volume type will be switched from Provisioned IOPS SSD to General Purpose SSD (gp3) to eliminate the provisioned IOPS charge. Atlas performs this as a rolling update - nodes are migrated one at a time with majority quorum maintained. Zero downtime, no data loss.
